Bad sun burn.... tips? advice? HELP!?

I just got back from the beach, and now i have a terrible sun burn on my arms, legs, and stomach. I DO NOT WANT TO PEAL! How do I prevent this? How do I relieve some of the burning? I want to have a nice tan. What is good sun burn advice? (I know, I will stay out of the sun more next time, it was an accident. Doesn't it happen to us all?)

Try putting aloe gel on it, and take a hot shower (before you put the aloe on). It hurts, but it feels a lot better afterward.Bad sun burn.... tips? advice? HELP!?
well if you get sun burn you are going to peal you may not peal as much if you use coco butter lotion or aloe lotion just keep your skin moist as much as you can
OK - no lecture since you promise to be more careful next time!

There's no guaranteed way to prevent peeling. For the burning, use moist cloths. For peeling, you can try keeping the skin moist take a lukewarm shower or bath, then immediately apply a lotion to the skin. Aloe may help too. Some people swear by cider vinegar, which will make you smell like a salad. Vinegar will however help the itching.

Don't scratch as this will make the skin peel.
