This may sound crazy, but it's worth a try. Swing! Try swinging, for real now. I had very few painful periods. But when I did, well, you know. Someone told me about swinging, preferably the type they have in the park, but back yard will do in a pinch. I don't know why, but it did help.
If you are a praying person, try that. Sometimes, all you need to cry out is HELP! I know (now) that works.
Take care.
There are several great medications available by prescription only for menstrual cramps.
The 'over the counter' ones usually aren't worth squat.
So, ask your doc for a pill for the pain. They work!
Birth control pills do not usually control pain well.
If you are bleeding very heavily each month and a blood test shows that you are 'anemic', you might need to have a ';d%26amp;c'; which will cure the heavy bleeding.
Good luck, and see an ob-gyn doc if you can.
ugh omg i get the same problem
paracetamol usually helps
but what is really good is electric blankets/ pads
my grandma uses one for her general aches and pains so iv borrowed it now and then while im sitting at my desk doing my homework- the heat really helps 2 alleviate the pain AMAZINGLY
hope this helps :)
You may be having a miscarriage...this is common to miscarry when you didn't even know you were pregnant...and of course you know pills are not 100%,, my mom got pregnant on the pill and so did two of my close friends...
Go to your local health food store, ask them about Red Raspberry Leaf tea. It'll help tons, and is safe to use throughout your reproductive years (including during pregnancy), until the end of menopause.
Best wishes.
I use heat. Either a heating pad if I am at home or those sticky ones if I have to go to work. I also take 800 mg of ibuprofen.
Hey how are you? I suggest that you speak with a specialist. I have woman in my family that experience very bad cramps during their periods and a way they take care of them is by taking pills and also by taking warm baths which comforts your body. Hopefully this may help you. Take care.
Here's some tips:
-Hot water bottle or rice bag
-Eat bananas, they help
- Take advil or even better, take midol
-Have a warm bath and soak in it for a while
Hope those help
Drink lots of milk.
Bad joke: How can you trust any thing that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.
