Why does being in like with someone suck so bad... much needed advice!!!?

Ok, I keep digging myself in a bigger and bigger hole with this guy I like... We've been talking for about two months and just decided to try the exclusive dating thing... the only thing is i'm leaving in two months for the military and have yet to tell him... I'm afraid if i tell him now i'll mess everything up... but I like him even my family likes him. I considered not going to the air force, just because i feel like such a liar... He's the best guy i've ever dated, I'm 21 so i'm in no hurry to get married. but i have so many what ifs, what if i leave what if i stay... I just really don't know what to do... Is there a way to postpone your enlistment... If I could have a few more months perhaps it would be easier... I need some advice cuz i'm freakin out!!Why does being in like with someone suck so bad... much needed advice!!!?

Girl the air force That's great very proud of you. Tell him now then he has two months to get used to the idea. If it is meant to be it will work out if not then you will know before you go. Your not a liar you just waited to see if it would get to a point were it would be necessary to tell him. That time is now. I am sure he will be proud of you and want to continue your relationship, without you giving up your goals. My best wishes for you.

I wouldn't freak out. If this guy is as great as you say he is. He will be fine with your decision. He will wait for you. While you are in boot camp, you can write, and even call him. You won't lose contact with him. Don't let him go though, he sounds like a great catch!
