I need some advice on some bad dental work and what i should do. thanks.?

I went to the dentist back in August and got 2 fillings done on my insurance, and the next day i was in so much pain i went back in and told the dentist i was in so much pain and he looked at me teeth and said it was fine but it hurt so much to eat floss whatever so he gave me pain pills, Tylenol codeine and ibprofen, I took some of them and now 2 months later it is really sensitive to hot and cold 2 back teeth and when I eat or floss. Its painful. I havent been back to my old dentist since then i changed dentists and i am trying to get an appt. I was thinking having my new dentst check it out and then go from there. I mean after 2 months I should have no pain what so ever. I have had fillings before and I have never had this outcome? What should I do?I need some advice on some bad dental work and what i should do. thanks.?
The first thing you should do when you see the new dentist is to mention the problems you are having with these 2 teeth so he can see if the fillings are properly done, or if there may be some nerve damage that could require a root canal. This is not normal for a 2 month old filling to be giving you this much pain. Good luck with your new dentist.I need some advice on some bad dental work and what i should do. thanks.?
If u have sensitive teeth u may need root canal. Go to the new dentist as soon as possible 2 get it checked out
