Advice on breaking bad dating habbits?

i look for specific things in men, so when i ACTUALLY find a guy i like and he seems interested, i try to force the situation instead of just letting things happen. when i SHOULD be forming a friendship and getting to know the guy better, instead im already focused on winning him over. i have a date comming up and i think the guy is pretty cool....therefore instead of trying to just have a good time with him, i'll probably be analyzing him and deciding how i should behave in accordence to what i think he likes. i KNOW this i a horrible way to go about things, but i can't help it...it's my gut reaction. what can i do to overcome this behavior?Advice on breaking bad dating habbits?
Call me.

But I have done this too. It's just that we are learning how to act with people (date). Yeah, just show your real side? You think he wont like it? Because if that you have self esteem problems. Just be yourself. They either like you for who are or they don't. Now, if you are like water, clay, and you con conform into anyone and you are going to be happy, then find someone who you really fit with. You are kinda saying that if you like him even if he is a ****** then you still do whatever to keep him. No? Just be yourself!Advice on breaking bad dating habbits?
Just do it, whenever you're gonna say something you think he will like just say what you really feel, thats the only way to break the habit and impress a guy.

Advice for a bad case of hives?

Two nights ago I broke out into a horrendous case of hives. I've never gotten hives before in my entire life. It started with some mild itching and redness on my neck in the afternoon, and like a dummy I scratched it and it spread. I'm 90% sure the culprit is this ratty old blanket that I used while taking a during said afternoon, as it was in our basement and probably ridden with dust mites and who knows what else. I could be wrong, because as far as I know I'm not allergic to anything....but I haven't changed my diet, detergent, soaps, etc...So that's all I can think of.

Anyway, the worst part is they keep cropping up, and then only at night. During the day the most I feel is a very mild, hardly noticeable itch but at night itchy welts start appearing, on my hands and then my arms, legs, torso and face. It's miserable! I wake up looking and feeling fine but at night it's pure torture. What can I do to get rid of these hives once and for all???Advice for a bad case of hives?
Take a strong antihistamine like Benadryl. There is also Benadryl lotions that you can put directly on the skin. Ice is also good to reduce swelling and stop itching. You can also try bathing in oat meal. Another thing I like for topical use is to bathe in vinegar.Advice for a bad case of hives?
I would say an antihistamine, however, I would go see a doctor if this is a continuing thing.

Advice to fix bad impression on girlfriend's parents?

Um, i really need some advices.

I've dating with my girlfriend for almost 2 months. During these 2 months, we both agreed that i will not see her parents until a few more months to show that we're actually very stable and secure.

However, being a stupid guy i am, we oftenly hang out in her room without her parents knowing.

Yesterday, while i was in her room, her mom walked in. She didn't really had any sort of reaction but then asked my girlfriend who i was.

I decided not to leave because i thought it would be better of her mom decided to talk to me right away and ask me questions about me.

She didn't.

That night, her parents talked to her about her future and told her to concentrate on her education. In short, they don't really want her to date me.

I've been thinking for 2 days straight. I think the actual issue is that they don't really know who i am.

So,should i come over to meet them and apologize and introduce myself? I feel like the more i wait, the worse it will becomeAdvice to fix bad impression on girlfriend's parents?
i'd be mad too. if i guy i didn't know was in my daughters room.

if you are in her room with the door shut, parents only think you are up to one thing. ( if you know what i mean )

you should have introduced yourself before going into her room. or going to her house at all.

thats a no no with parents. they have to trust you first before you can go into her room. her room is off limits until you know they can fully trust you. or else they will get mad

you have to let them know what you do, what kind of things you like, hobbies, and a really good way to do that is to get your girlfriend to invite you over for dinner and talk to them.

first impressions are always hard and could be incorrect.

you made a mistake

but you can fix it. and apologize to her parents. tell them that you had no intentions of sex and that you were just afraid of what they might think of you.

and if you were having sex, thats a whole different storyAdvice to fix bad impression on girlfriend's parents?
i think that you should go and apologize.

D.H.S (child support) I don't have all my receipts and they are taking me to court any advice good or bad.

Get your bank statements together. That way you can show that on X days X amount was taken out and it matches the X amount you are required to pay. Get the copies of the cancelled checks, if you wrote checks.

In the future, always send DHS payments certified return receipt signature required. They tried to pull this on my dad when my folks divorced, and even after he was doing this. What he would do is when they sent him a non-payment letter, he would call up and say, ';I just got your non-payment letter, I have a signature of receipt by a person named So andSo, perhaps you should investigate this person for theft if my payment wasn't received. I have a copy of the check right here infront of me that shows it was deposited. What's the malfunction?';D.H.S (child support) I don't have all my receipts and they are taking me to court any advice good or bad.
Ech. I wish you the best of luck.

D.H.S (child support) I don't have all my receipts and they are taking me to court any advice good or bad.
i would try to be looking for them or try to see if you can not get copies of the recipts.

GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
See these receipts are the only proof.

They will in trouble if you will not how a proof of liggle documents in form of receipt. So whatever they are doing is absoultly right ligally.
There must be copies of these receipts somewhere. It comes down to how the money is transferred. If you are handing money over and getting receipts, the agency you are paying the money to must have the copies. Is this what is happening? If you are paying the money from your account directly, then your bank statements will have the withdrawal confirmations listed - the dates and the amounts withdrawn.

My advice: Be honest and up front with your statements. Any evidence you can provide in your case would be very beneficial.

Best of luck.

Advice for a bad break up?

My boyfriend and I dated for three years, we started working at the same place and things seemed to start falling apart. We've had an issue with arguing (we're both argumentative) for most of our relationship, but it became ridiculous. Then he said he wanted to go on a ';break';. I agreed, thinking he'd be back in two days, dummy me. Two days later I heard from a co-worker that he had taken a co-worker of ours on a date. So I called him to confront him (got a little crazy probably but I was mad), and he left me, saying ';we've been having problems for a while, I wanted to be around a female who was nice to me not mad at me';. I've been heart broken and finding it hard to deal with the relationship (I have a history of depression but had been fine for quite a while). He claims he still loves me we just ';don't work';

To top it off, I'm now having pregnancy symptoms, I'm not sure if they are just from stress or actual pregnancy symptoms.

Any advice on how to cope with the break up?Advice for a bad break up?
i'm so sorry, first of all.

no one has ever been in your exact relationship, so i can't tell you that i understand, but i get some of your feelings.

and they suck.

well, first of all, don't be clingy.

don't call him or contact him at all.

also, he may really love you and it just doesn't work.

that's why i broke it off with my ex:

i loved him like crazy but it wouldn't work right.

everything happens for a reason,

and this one is probbly bc u deserve better than an argumentative relationship.

try to move on; hang out with the girls, go out and have fun, go to guy friends for support.

mostly, pray to God about it.

best of luck.Advice for a bad break up?
first of all he is the biggest jerk ever ..

so just think in this way that u deserve much better things in life ... go on hang out with some friend watch some movies

why waste ur energy on thinking negative thoughts ...

keep urself busy ... so that u dont feel bad sitting alone ..

and secondly get a pregnancy test to make sure about ur doubt .. atleast u will be clear what to think and what not to ..

best of luck ..
The first thing you need to do is be checked by a doctor to confirm if you are or are not pregnant. There will be a different response and more detail if you are indeed pregnant.

Not sure how old you are, but you are probably relatively young, early to mid 20's. I recommend you first find out about YOU -- before you look for a partner. There are several books and tapes that will help you immensly there. Try Dr. Phil McGraw's ';Relationship Rescue';; and Anthony Robbins ';Get the Edge'; -- he has a chapter 3 on Relationships that is excellent.

Don't panic -- life is not fair all the time, but it also doesn't have to suck for long. You CAN gain control of your own life and what you are looking for in a soul mate. There are too many items in something like this for simple answer. If you would like to discuss further you may email me at cnslt4u@yahoo.com

I am probably old enough to be your grandfather so not to worry about ulterior motives for helping.

be kind to yourself and know you are worthy of love and respect - from others, but most importantly from yourself.

Scott
Put on your best poker face when you are at work or around him and start dating. Just for fun, not seriously. Sometimes life gets so heavy that we just have to fake it until we make it. Don't let yourself fall into a deep depression and be grateful for this opportunity to grow and move on. Did you want to spend the rest of your life with someone you argued so much with? Probably not.
Get a good CD, turn it up and start feeling good about yourself.

Start taking care of yourself and focusing on yourself and God.

The rest will follow.
Ok it's just not going to work, you never get a job with someone you are dating. Just remember this, when they break up he will call you. and when he does as much as you want to. he only wants sex and someone to take his mind off her. Don't do it.

And with the pregnancy thing if you are, then he needs to step up and be a man. you 2 need to work together to raise a child, but if the relationship didn't work out then it wont work again. So he needs to be a man and help support the child
Very difficult situtation there. I would be mad at the co worker personally too, knowing you two have a history, but that can only make things worse in the long run.

It makes it even harder when he is playing games by saying he still loves you but you guys don't work. That is a load of crap to me and seems like he is trying to keep you on the hook but at a distance just in case.

As far as he wanting to be around a girl who is nice, it is all fine and dandy when they have a woman that kisses butt, but eventually they all turn into the ';wife'; and then the men don't like it as much. He just wanted to try something new from the sound of it.

I don't mean to be so harsh but it is so hard to get over someone and then to have them drag it off.

The best way to get over them is a clean break. Don't call to talk, don't play emotional games with each other, and just focus on other things and meeting new people. You may see someone else in a different light.

It is so hard and stressful and it is really difficult to get over someone when you give them your heart. I am still not completely over my first love and that was a long time ago. Just try not to dwell on it.

I realize that is easier said than done. Just be careful with your depression and if need be get on some mild medication or see a counselor to help you thru this time.

As far as the pregnancy symptoms- stress can cause a lot of things. I would take a pregnancy test in a few days. If it is negative take a second one a few days later. If positive you may then want to talk to him about that and decide what kind of relationship you guys want.

  • Advice on dating bad boys?

can't help it, I just love the bad guys. and nice guys never like me anyways, its always the rocker/band/potsmoking/player/waytooflir鈥?types that are all over me. I don't know why though, b/c I really dont do a lot of that stuff %26amp; i think im pretty honest in relationships. i guess i am kinda a flirt though. anyways, what is some advice on dating bad boys? Like Justin Bobby from the Hills type bad boys. the kind that all the girls want %26amp; that even when you're the one with him you feel like he's not all yours. and if there are any bad boys out there i'd especially appreciate your advice since you know best! haha. but i'd love anyone's help. but please dont say to just not date them b/c thats just really not possible for me. i already asked this question %26amp; most people just said not to which really doesnt help.Advice on dating bad boys?
hahaha... based on personal experience. dont. flat out, dont. but i know /exactly/ how you feel... im forever getting asked out by uber sweet, spoiling darling nice guys, i have my fun with them, but they hold no interest for me... the ones i really want and sadly, fall for, are the bad boys that dont even treat me well. ive just accepted at this point that im going to get hurt if i keep having relationships like my current one... id say try to keep yourself emotionally unattached, and if -deity of your choice- forbid, you do really fall for one, try to get yourself out asap. or accept that youll get hurt and prepare yourself to just deal with that. relationships with bad boys can be great for girls who, unlike me, like to keep their relationships mostly about lust and passion, and not as much about love and romancey stuff. either way, good luck to you hun... youll need it. ^^;; one important thing i should probably mention is that for almost all boys of that type, theyre really, really bad about expressing their feelings, if they have them, so youll always have to take those first steps. i always have to say ';i love you'; first and hope that theyll ';you too';, or something. many times ive just gotten ';i know.'; and smacked them. =P its too be expected. ^^ so express feelings if youve got them, but try to avoid falling too hard, guys of that mold are heart breakers... =v.v=Advice on dating bad boys?
Nice guys like you but like you said you're attracted to BAD boys. And you know their bad for a reason right? They use you like a piece of cheap cloth and leave you crushed. If you're willing to go through that kind of pain then my advice is flirt and act like you don't want them. Bad boys want what they can't have. Be sexy and flirty. Basically bad boys want bad girls.
if ur with a 'bad boy' dont be all clingy on him, make it seem like hes lucky to be with u, it will make u different than every other girl who would give an arm and a leg to be with him. goodluck !
Do what thy will. %26amp; stop acting surprised when this world doesn't paint pretty pictures. If you like rough boys then enjoy yourself with them while you can.
Just wait for the kind type of guy to go along, it'll hurt dating a bad boy... i know alot, and you will never know how much the girls been through!

they've cheated on them, hit them, tried to rape them, had sex then dumped her after..

    Just let love wait

    Don't say you can't

    you HAVE to

wait for the perfect guy, the type of guy who will treat you better than anything, an extremely kind guy, and a gentlemen

    good luck:)
I love dating unavailable guys, so I understand what you are going through, it's like they are the only ones I want... the ones that can never fully commit to me for one reason or another. Soooo... here's what I've learned:

You are attracted to this so deal with it. You have to adapt to what you are attracted to, if the guy is a bad boy be sure you always keep him wanting more, be sure to be interesting, but never too interested in just him. Don't EVER get upset when they are flirting with others, just show that you can do the same and reward him when at the end of the night you go home together. It is a complement when other girls want your man, but be sure he's never being disrespectful to you. Check him if he's getting out of hand, being too much of a jerk to you.

A lot of bad boys have good in them and you need to hold on to those things, just know you are giving up a lot of other things. If you are trying to change the man it will never work. You have to accept these bad boys for all that they are, or you'll always be disappointed.

Please don't sell yourself short though and accept less than because you think you can't get any better. You can find passion and excitement with all kinds of guys, but the real spark might be what you are going for, and in time you will need to weigh out the advantages and disadvantages. Think about it, would you want to deal with a an asshole or male diva for the next 60 years of your life (or however long)?
Well bad boys like danger. do u like danger? bad boys will try and tempt u with all the drugs they can get their hands. Most r just plain druggies. dont be another Brittney Spears she got into drugs and bad boys and now she is a smoked up drugged up sl*t (dont get mad @ me if u like her) oh nd Miley Cyrus is next in line 4 it to
It's your life and what ever you do; you will have to live with the consequences of your actions. It's that simple! You will have no one else to blame but yourself. Just remember that there is every likelihood that there is good in everyone!
    Okay here we go.

    1) There are two kinds of ';bad boys.'; I've met a lot of both types, and its not hard to tell which type they are in a conversation with them, guy to guy.

Type 1 is the traditional jerk. He goes out looking for a girl not to have a relationship necessarily, but simply to either have a girl for the sake of having one, to impress his friends, or to get laid. Because of this, its unlikely he'll open up to you or attach himself to you. Most girls get tricked by these guys because they act like jerks so much that when they finally say something moderately nice it juxtaposes their regular behavior so much that the girl just melts. Advice for dating this kind of guy? Aside from the obvious ';don't,'; you should just try to see past his bullshit and try not to get too emotionally involved, but rather just try to have fun with it. Go into the relationship knowing that you aren't doing it to get to know him better, but just to get as much fun out of it as you can.

Type 2 is the rare jerk. When he's single, he'll go out and hook up and party with as many girls as he can, just like type 1. However, when he finally finds one he likes enough to get into a relationship with, he actually puts effort into it. When he gets a girl in a relationship, she becomes HIS girlfriend, not A girlfriend. He'll probably be protective of her when around his friends, and will actually like to talk to her. Around her, he'll be more prone to drop the jerk attitude and actually act decent. Advice for dating this kind of guy? If you are able to get him to start a relationship with you, then you've done well, and he must like you. Just act like yourself and have a good time. It's okay to get attached to this kind of guy, he'll probably get attached to you. This is obviously a much better situation than the other type of guy.

How to tell the difference? when you go out to places, type 1 won't care as much about what you have to say as type 2 will. Type 1 would rather do things, while type 2 might actually like to talk to you about things. type 1 might cheat on you, while type 2 would never. Type 1 cares less about you, type 2 cares all about you.
Simply try to become one of the people in the crowd. It might be funner then dating goody goody's! And they most of the time are cuter. And you can understand then and mabye if you find a cute smart badboy you'll be really lucky.
date em, but be yourself. don't let the guy talk you into doin some of his ';bad stuff';. Guys will respect a girl that has a mind of her own. And dont stick with a guy that tries to play you. You deserve more respect than that. N make sure you let those guys know that your not just another girl to be thrown around

Ok... I need advice really really bad?

So my fiance' died about a year an a half ago well now his brother wants us to get together.. He says that his brother would rather me be with him and know that i was being treated good and being taken care of then be with some idiot or someone who wouldnt treat me as good as he did.. I dont know what to do. I feel that it would be wrong but then some people say it may meant to happen.. Just someone please help meOk... I need advice really really bad?
i think the question you need to ask yourself is what do you want? Do you love the brother, your fiance would want you to be happy, but that does not mean you need to be with his brother. Your fiance would want you to be happy, so the real question is do you love him (the brother)?
