My daughter's 102.5 fever for the past 2 days broke. Bad news is she has not urinated in 10 hours. Any advice?

Make sure she is drinking plenty of fluids, water, gatorades, pedialyte etc tonight and call the dr in the morning. ice pops will help get fluid into her too since at that age you can not make them drink as you want them to.

Remember too, when you are sick, even if you are drinking plenty, you probably don't urinate as much as normal. If she is still is in diapers, you will have a better idea in the morning when she gets up by how wet her diaper is. You can judge then on how quick she needs to be seen by a dr again (assuming she was seen with fever).

I have 3 boys, the urinate very little during a fever and the first day after it breaks. I am the same way. keep a close eye on her for any other signs of dehydration or symptoms that there is something else wrong. If need be get her to the ER or a patient first place quickly. My daughter's 102.5 fever for the past 2 days broke. Bad news is she has not urinated in 10 hours. Any advice?
My son was pretty sick (fever, etc) this time last year and my dr told me that I needed to call if he hadn't urinated in 6 hours - I wound up having to bring him into the ER and he was given an IV for several hours until he urinated. He was fine after that and recovered from his illness pretty quickly, but when they are little, they sometimes can't ';catch up'; with their hydration without help. Either way, call your doctor asap.My daughter's 102.5 fever for the past 2 days broke. Bad news is she has not urinated in 10 hours. Any advice?
You need to take her to a doctor and have her checked if still nothing at 24hours, there are products at the pharmacy for dehydration (normally for diahorrea) get her something like that and it will help the fever reduce also
You need to take her to the doctor!
you got to get some kind of fluids in her.... water---- ice chips.

she needs some to drink..... she is dehydrate.....12 hours you need to see a doctor
uhh hello.. its something called dehydration..bring her to the doctor she needs a i.v
Just pray for her an it will b fien!
Have you kept her hydrated? I would take her to the dr's. That doesn't sound normal. If she didn't poo in 10 hours, then that wouldn't be nothing to be concern about, but urinating. I don't know.
